New St. Paul provides the following services to its active members: Sick Visitations, Baby Christenings, Shepherd’s Care, Weddings, Transitions of Life, and Use of Property for Special Occasions. The aforementioned services must be scheduled, arranged, and coordinated through our daily administration. Contact our church office at (586) 759-NSPC from 9am-3pm Monday through Friday. (Weddings, Transitions of Life, and Use of Property for Special Occasions are available to non-members as well. Contact our church office for further assistance.)

Sick Visitation

The Deacons Ministry &/or clergy of New St. Paul conduct hospital visitations. They are available to pray for you in your time of physical challenge.

Baby Christenings

Baby christenings are brief ceremonies in which we dedicate babies back to God as an expression of our appreciation to Him for giving new life. With this understanding, be aware that a christening is not salvation or baptism for the child; just a dedication. It is our practice at New St. Paul to conduct baby christenings any time during (& not beyond) the 1st 12 months of the baby’s life.

Shepherd’s Care

Families and individuals are frequently at a loss of direction in the event of challenging times and circumstances. For this reason, Shepherd’s Care offers biblical and spiritual direction from our pastor &/or clergy that may assist during those challenging times of life. Shepherd’s Care is confidential and by appointment only.

New Member Orientation

New Member Orientation provides the new members of New St. Paul with information about their new church home, the services available to them, a campus tour, and opportunities they have to serve God through our various ministries. The orientation includes the following:

  1. “What We Believe”
  2. “NSP Ministries”
  3. “Supporting Your Church”
  4. “Knowing Your Church”

Baptism

Water Baptism is the physical expression of the believer’s oneness with the death, burial, & resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is symbolic of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that supernaturally places the believer in the body of Christ at salvation. At New St. Paul, we baptize every 4th Sunday in each month.

Communion

Communion is the sacred observance of our Lord’s sacrifice on Calvary for the remission of sins and the redemption & reconciliation of humankind to God. We not only commemorate His death, but we also celebrate our discipleship to Him. At New St. Paul, we conduct Communion every 1st Sunday of each month.
